How Late Night Eating Can Come Back With A Bite.
Greetings my lovelies,
Ever catch yourself in your kitchen late night rambling
through the fridge to fix a sweet or salty tooth or a deep late night Uber Eats obsession?
Well my dears, you are a late night eater. Am about to let you know why it always comes back and bites you in the ass.
With much research, what a late night eater suffers or chooses to do is called "night eating syndrome". Most people, like night shift works, have no choice but to eat at the time that most of us deem as "bedtime". During this time many night shift worker and late night binges are consuming 25% of their daily calories during the hours after dinner time.
This can result in weight gain eating outside your typical sleep and wake cycle, making the body more prone to storing those calories as fat and unnecessary weight gain rather than burn those calories as necessary energy.
Dietitian Joy Dubost, a spokeswoman for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics spoke to the subject of the timing of consumption of calories. " For years, we said a calorie is a calorie no matter when you consume it, I don't know if we can say that anymore, based on the emerging research. The timing of a meal may potentially have an impact."
Although there isn't enough research on the impact of timing with late-night eating, the research that out has definitely shown many results that can leave many to question. A small study published May 2015 under the US National Library of Medicine National Institute of Health with Professor Marta Garaulet of University of Murcia and team showed participates ate lunch after 4:30pm; they burned fewer calories while resting and digesting their food than they did when they ate at 1pm- even though the calories consumed and the level of activity was the same.
The late eater participants couldn't metabolize or burn off the carbs as well as when they ate earlier.
I believe in the old saying in the arena of the portion of eating long as a healthy choice and reasonable responsibility food choices are involved "Eat Breakfast like a King, Eat Lunch like a Prince, and Eat Dinner like a Pauper.
Here are key tips to keep that you can do to curb late night eating:

Take this key tips into account and start pulling back on late night eating. That why those late night bad choice don't come back to bite you.
